As a college student, you learn to get creative with food. And as a runner with a wee little budget, I really REALLY have to get creative.
So with peanut butter, bread, but no jelly, I used what I did have and it turned out great! Boyfriend approved, too ;)
Ingredients:
- bread
- peanut butter
- not jelly but... Pomegranate!
Cut open the pomegranate to extract the seeds, spoon some seeds on a slice of bread (as well as some of the juices!), cover it up with the other, peanut-butter-covered slice and you're done! A delicious, healthy new twist to the ole pbandj.
